Remington College’s Combination Welding diploma program offers welding training for students seeking entry-level positions in structural and pipe welding. Students will study safety measures and fundamental welding techniques, engaging in practical exercises within a lab environment that meets industry standards.
The four major arc welding processed are covered in the program, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), Flux-Cored arc welding (FCAW) and Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Safety practices and procedures will also be covered in the program. Upon successful completion of the welding program, aspiring welders should be prepared to attempt to pass the AWS Certified Welder test.
